Candle Making Class Waiver & Registration

I understand that participation in a candle making class involves the use of hot wax, fragrances, tools, and materials that may pose a risk of injury, allergic reactions, or other harm.

I voluntarily choose to participate in this activity and acknowledge that I do so at my own risk. I agree to follow all instructions provided by staff and to use equipment and materials safely and responsibly.

Participants must be at least five (5) years of age to attend a candle making class. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times, and adult supervision and assistance is required for children participating in the class. Parents or guardians are fully responsible for the safety, behavior, and supervision of their child throughout the duration of the class.

In consideration of being permitted to participate, I hereby waive, release, and hold harmless The Outer Banks Candle Company, its owners, employees, instructors, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in the candle making class, including but not limited to personal injury, burns, allergic reactions, property damage, or any other loss, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

I certify that I am physically able to participate in this activity and have no medical conditions that would prevent safe participation. I understand that it is my responsibility to disclose any allergies or sensitivities prior to the class.
