How Our Candle Making Classes Work
Our Candle Making Classes are simple, hands-on, and beginner-friendly! No experience needed.
When you arrive, you will:
- Choose your vessel
- Explore our seasonal fragrance bar
- Blend your scent (if desired)
- Set your wick
- Pour your own candle
- Create your custom label
Our instructors guide you every step of the way. It’s relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for all skill levels. Your candle will need time to cure before it’s ready to burn.
Most guests enjoy exploring Duck, grabbing a bite to eat, or shopping while their candle sets. Your candle can be ready for pickup as early as one hour after your class finishes. We also offer shipping if needed.

Can kids attend?
Yes! Children ages 5 and up are welcome with active adult supervision. Because we work with warm wax and fragrance oils, an adult must assist younger participants throughout the class.
What if I’ve never made a candle before?
No experience is necessary. Our instructors walk you through each step, making the process easy and enjoyable.
How long before I can take my candle home?
Candles require time to cool and cure before they’re ready to travel. Your candle can be ready as early as one hour after your class is finished. Many guests return later the same day or the next day for pickup. We can hold your candle for 14 days, and we also offer shipping if you’re heading out of town.
Can I ship it?
Yes! We offer shipping for guests who are visiting the Outer Banks and prefer to receive their candle at home.
What is your cancellation policy?
Because class sizes are limited, a non-refundable down payment is required to reserve your seat. If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate based on availability.
