Antique Green Depression Glass Sugar Bowl

Pineapple Mint fragrance. All natural soy wax.

This antique Depression Glass sugar bowl is a beauty! Made by the Jeanette Glass Company from 1929-1933 in this “Cubist” pattern. The candle has two wicks for more efficient burning. This piece is worthy of everyday use or a striking display piece.

Depression Glass is colored or crystal glassware that was made during the Depression era (1920’s-1930’s). It was an affordable *bright spot* in American homes during the dark days of the Depression era. Each piece cost around 5-10 cents and the glassware was often packed in cereal boxes or flour bags, and even given away at local movie theaters, gas stations and grocery stores!

To reuse your vintage candle container: after the candle has burned down, scoop out any remaining wax with a spoon and discard. Then simply wash out the vessel carefully with warm, soapy water and since soy wax is soft and water soluble, it’s that easy. Now you’re ready to enjoy your vintage treasure for years to come!
